| The development of Hilton Garden Inn in Columbia was even much more difficult
due to the stringent requirements by Rouse company and Howard County.
Though the Rouse Company refused to even discuss a potential for Star Hotels
to develop a hotel in one of the Rouse developments, Star Hotels found a way
to ensure Rouse Company that he has necessary strength, capital and capabilities
to develop a Hilton brand in Columbia. Star Hotels has been catalyst in
opening a new subdivision on route 100 and Snowden River Parkway ahead of
schedule and played a valuable role in the layout of currently thriving and
expanding business district.
Star Hotels perform the role of Construction Management and completed the
hotel in 11 months and within budget.
